The Ambassador Committee provides a valuable service to existing and new CREW-St. Louis members by coordinating registration at monthly CREW-St. Louis events and welcoming new CREW-St. Louis members. Additionally, the Ambassador Committee organizes the annual CREW-St. Louis Dine-Around event.
The Communications Committee is responsible for promoting the programs and activities of the chapter. In addition, the committee strives to increase brand recognition of CREW in the St. Louis region and provide relevant information to members. The committee also plans and develops content for the quarterly newsletter.
The Member Services Committee has three main objectives: 1) hosting CREW Career and UCREW events at area schools, 2) providing CREW scholarship information and materials to Colleges and Universities throughout the State of Missouri, and 3) collecting and encouraging donations to CREW Network Foundation in order to support its initiatives (which include industry research, career outreach and scholarship endowment).
Member Services establishes connections and interacts with local high schools and colleges/universities in order to introduce students to opportunities and professions in commercial real estate (this includes connecting with women students interested in pursuing careers in commercial real estate and raising awareness about CREW).
The Golf Committee plans and carries out the annual CREW-St. Louis golf tournament. They work with the Sponsorship and Programs Committees to ensure an efficiently run event and have subcommittees to organize and achieve a variety of tasks. Within the committee, there are opportunities to work with the leaders in the real estate industry to solicit players and sponsors to create a successful tournament.
The Membership Committee is responsible for managing and strengthening the St. Louis Chapter’s membership. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining the Chapter's membership roster, working with CREW Network and members for updating member information and payment of dues, reviewing and submitting to the Board new member applications. Alongside the Ambassador Committee, the Membership Committee hosts new member events and is responsible for identifying and targeting prospective members.
The Sponsorship Committee solicits sponsorships from current and new sponsors annually. It works with the Programs Committee and the golf committee to place sponsorships with the various events they choose to sponsor.
The Programs Committee is responsible for the development and execution of monthly educational and networking events that support the mission of CREW. The committee identifies program topics, speakers and venues that reflect the latest in commercial real estate trends. CREW members-only programs are special events designed to enhance a CREW membership.
The Awards Committee coordinates CREW-St. Louis’ annual awards program, which recognizes significant contributions by CREW members at a special luncheon. Awards include Legacy Award, New Member of the Year, Spirit of CREW, Mentor of the Year and Member to Member Business.
