Annual Holiday Party
Despite the beautiful chaos of the holidays, the Annual CREW-St. Louis Holiday Party provided its members with a necessary break from the mayhem to spend time among friends and colleagues to reflect on another amazing year for the organization.
“The CREW-St. Louis Holiday party is one of my favorite events of the year because it’s a chance to connect with our members, many of which have become long-time friends. We enjoy each other’s company and the chance to wish each other well before the holidays,” says Angie Earlywine, 2017 CREW-St. Louis President and Principal at Forum Studio.
“Our gathering is always a memorable event as we have the tradition of reflecting on all the successes of the year and setting the stage for an exciting year to come. Even though the year was winding down there was no shortage of networking happening. The highlight of the evening for me was to have the pleasure of introducing Lynn Goessling, CREW-St. Louis 2018 President, and wish her well as she begins the leadership of our chapter in 2018.”
The event took place at Element Restaurant & Lounge. Conversations filled the room while CREW members enjoyed delicious cocktails and food in the restaurant’s third-floor lounge, which was furnished with several couches, tables and a variety of comfortable seating.
Shane Harris with G&W Engineering also enjoyed the festivities. “The CREW Holiday Party was an amazing event that provided an opportunity to chat with great colleagues,” says Harris, G&W’s Director of Business Development. “The venue was incredible and offered a fun atmosphere to hang out and interact. I always enjoy every CREW-St. Louis event and how easy it is to talk with everyone.”
New member Laura Musso found the event to be awesome. “Everyone is so welcoming and open to introducing me to a lot of new people,” says Musso, Business Development Manager at HBD Construction.
“A week prior to this event, I attended a membership meeting where I met several wonderful people. At the Holiday Party, these same women took me under their wing and introduced me to other CREW members. It was a great venue as well, great space, drinks and food,” Musso adds.
Incoming CREW-St. Louis President Lynn Goessling sums it up: “The holiday party was a time to celebrate and reflect on what we accomplished as a Chapter in 2017. Thanks to Angie Earlywine’s leadership, it truly was a year of IMPACT. Today, we are known as the premiere organization for women in commercial real estate and we have joined forces with a global network of more than 10,000 members. As I looked out over the packed room of my fellow CREW-St. Louis members and we raised our glasses, I felt the camaraderie and strength in our resolve and numbers to move our mission forward in 2018. I am confident that we will cause some positive DISRUPTION in our industry this year!”
The well-attended CREW-St. Louis Holiday Party served as a wonderful way to end the organization’s 35th year on a high note.
