Classic and Classy: 22nd Annual Golf Event Hits Its Mark

With picture-perfect weather on July 24, the 22nd Annual CREW-St. Louis Golf Classic did not disappoint the sell-out crowd. Nary a cloud in the sky and a cool breeze made for perfect rounds of golf for 132 industry leaders who teed off at Norwood Hills Country Club.
What happened both on and off the golf course make the annual event the industry’s premier networking event. Whether enjoying the sumptuous lunch buffet, standing on a tee box or attending the jam-packed evening’s dinner and cocktail reception, there was ample time to connect with colleagues.
The continued success of the Golf Classic took some good old-fashioned hard work. Special thanks to Pam Borusiewich, Golf Chair, and Mickey Warriner, Co-chair, along with their dedicated committee, for such an outstanding job. More than 30 CREW-St. Louis members also volunteered at the tournament, handling every detail from registration to beverage carts. Way to go team CREW-St. Louis!
And Pam and Mickey also applaud Norwood and its staff for its gracious hospitality. Everything ran smoothly thanks to the attentive staff.
We extend our appreciation to BatesForum, our Platinum Sponsor. The company made it even more special by giving away an Apple Watch to one lucky golfer.
Of course, CREW-St. Louis gives a big shout out to dozens of generous sponsors. They helped fill our goodie bags. Sponsors set up tables along the course to hand out drinks, food, and everything from coolie cups to cigars. We had numerous hole sponsors, and we completely redesigned our hole signage to incorporate our new logo. Companies supplied great items for our winning teams, longest drives and closest to the pin contests. And what about the great raffle items that allowed us to generate funds for CREW Network Foundation.
You can relive the year’s memorable outing by checking out some of the fun photos taken by our astute photographer, Stacey Hudson, Professional Office Environments. Check back in the future for all the pictures thanks to CORE Facility Services, our photo sponsor.
We crowned a new CREW Cup Challenge champion this year, too, a tradition now in its fourth year. Our friends from Simmons Bank took the honors with a sizzling score of 59 in a scorecard playoff over the team from Colliers St. Louis. Danny Chadkhtzian, Scott Clark, Chris Crabtree and James Kelly will have their names inscribed on the cup and earned bragging rights.
Yes, classic and classy in every respect. The tradition continues so we look forward to seeing all of our industry friends in 2019 when we hold the 23rd Annual CREW-St. Louis Golf Classic.
