Details on 1st Annual Trivia Night

CREW-St. Louis members, friends, co-workers and more gathered at the Maryland Heights Community Center on Sept. 14th for the 1st Annual CREW-St. Louis Trivia Night benefitting CREW Network Foundation. Attendees’ tables were filled with swag from various sponsors, snacks and appetizers, and drinks from the open bar sponsored by JEMA. Dan Dillon with Dan Dillon Trivia served as the emcee as tables of eight competed in eight rounds of 10 questions each across topics ranging from architecture to finishing the lyrics of songs from different decades.

McCarthy Building Companies served as the night’s Presenting Sponsor. Capes Sokol, Colliers, Spencer Fane, Simmons Bank, HOK, Cushman & Wakefield and many more also sponsored the evening. More than 160 guests browsed the raffle items that included Kendra Scott jewelry, a lottery tree, St. Louis Cardinals vs. Chicago Cubs baseball tickets, gift cards and many other items.

According to CREW-St. Louis member Sherry Dreisewerd with Spencer Fane, “Not only was the First Annual Trivia Contest a huge success, it helped build camaraderie among members with some friendly competition.”

“Getting to be a part of the planning committee for such a fun, inclusive event for CREW-St. Louis was a great experience!” says Katie Flaschar with Cushman & Wakefield. "As a new member, this committee really gave me the opportunity to get to know other members and feel like I was making an impact. The event ended up being a blast – and really successful – so I hope to be involved again next year!”

Congratulations to Kathie Davis and the Davis & Travaglini team as their table took home first place honors. Lynn Goessling with Smith Amundsen was the last person standing in the ‘Dead or Alive’ trivia game played halfway through rounds.

The Member Services committee did an excellent job in planning and executing the first of many annual trivia nights. Now, time to sharpen your trivia skills for next year!
