ST. LOUIS --- Stacey Kamps has been promoted to CEO of Koch Development Co. and been elected to its board of directors and executive oversight committee. She previously served as managing director, responsible for Koch’s investments and the management of its commercial real estate and amusement attractions portfolio. The announcement was made by Koch Development Cochairs Paul Koch and Roger Koch.

Entering its second century in business, Koch Development is a St. Louis-based, third-generation, family-owned company that develops, owns and manages a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate and entertainment attractions. Kamps also is the manager of Koch Development’s SkyWheel® Attractions, with operations in Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Panama City Beach, Fla.

“In her 10 years on our team, Stacey has demonstrated an ability to lead and manage in an industry undergoing epic changes,” said Roger Koch. “During 2020, she led the charge to quickly and successfully adapt to challenges posed by the pandemic.”

“We are confident that her inventive, strategic approaches to operations and relationships will carry us forward with strength in the years to come,” added Paul Koch.

Kamps continues to lead the Koch Family Office, which provides financial and wealth management services.

The Koch family has a long history of impactful philanthropy. Through research, education and outreach, the Koch Center increases academic knowledge of family businesses, prepares the next generation of family business leaders for success, and provides educational resources.

Kamps joined Koch in 2011 as chief financial officer after serving as senior director of finance and acquisitions at Charter Communications, where she managed $2.2 billion of asset acquisitions and divestitures and completed many bank, bond and equity transactions.
