CREW-St. Louis 26th Annual Golf Classic

CREW-St. Louis officially kicked off its 26th Annual Golf Classic with a shotgun start at 11:00 a.m. on August 1st at Norwood Hills Country Club. Safe to say that the tournament would’ve been “lit” even without the 107-degree heat index. Fun seemed to be had by all, water was consumed in mass volumes, and no one passed out! (Win. Win. Win.) Our fearless chairpersons, Julie Wilson and Susan Esker were on their game and scored a hole in one with their flawless organization! Lisa Moehle and Nicole Schupmann were equally as impressive in their leadership of the volunteers…so impressive that a couple of rock-solid supporters agreed to pose with them for their official Golf Classic Shot. Thanks for everything Julie, Susan, Lisa, Nicole – and the entire Golf Committee!

By the numbers: The tournament boasted 236 golfers, 37 volunteers and an additional 30 who registered for the happy hour. Rumor has it that the group of volunteers this year were absolutely incredible. Thank you to everyone who showed up to help. We couldn’t have done it without you!

At the end of the day, in the cool of the Norwood Hills banquet room, the winners were celebrated and awarded their prizes:

We raised $900 in the 50/50 raffle alone for CREW Network Foundation. Congrats to Rich Striler for taking home his half of the prize. Additional monies raised from the silent auction and tournament in general have yet to be reported but you can bet that CREW Network Foundation will once again receive huge support from our chapter.

And last, while there wasn’t a formal costume competition, if there were one, this author would have declared team bird-cheetah the winners by a landslide. You wouldn’t know it was 100 degrees out by the fresh look of this team!

We are grateful to all who braved the heat, with a smile on their face, to support CREW Network Foundation. Your generosity means our Chapter can continue to support the only organization that dedicates its resources solely toward transforming the commercial real estate industry by advancing women globally.

See you next year!
