Revitalization of the Gateway Arch
It’s one of the largest construction projects in St. Louis history and it’s been over 8 years in the making...The Gateway Arch Park Foundation’s $380M CityArchRiver Project is preparing for completion this summer with the opening of the world class Visitor Center and Museum Of Westward Expansion! Join CREW-St. Louis as we take a look at the history of the design competition, the construction process and what’s planned for the Arch into the future. Anna Leavey, GAPF Director of Construction and Vern Remiger, GAPF Owner’s Representative and President of Remiger Design, will break down the complex project that includes involvement from Gateway Arch Park Foundation, National Park Service, MODOT, City of St. Louis, Great Rivers Greenway and a host of other local, federal, public and private Partners.
The presentation will include a sneak peek into the new Visitor Center and Museum of Westward Expansion. Weather permitting, we’ll host tours on the Arch Grounds including the new park over the highway, north gateway, east slopes and riverfront. Please sign up separately for the tour groups as we are limited in size.
